We had a fabulous time this weekend at the meet and greet baby shower that my sister put together in CT for James this past Saturday. The food was delicious, the weather was beautiful and the time to visit with guests too short! I feel like there were so many family and friends there that we didn't get to spend enough time with everyone. We look forward to seeing you again next summer.
James got to meet many relatives, some very new to our family. Robert Luca was born 8 days before James and Isabella Jane was born 2 and a half weeks after him.
My sister and parents chose to donate money to a special charity instead of handing out favors. Four years ago, my friend Laurie and her husband Mark lost their son, Marshall to Spinal Muscular Atrophy. They decided to do something about it and started a 501c3 charity called Marshall's Miles.
