On Monday afternoon, Jim drove me and Samantha to Port Charlotte and dropped us off at our friend Beth's house. Samantha and Beth are classmates of mine at Nova. We headed to Orlando for the week to attend the summer conference that is hosted by Nova. It was an extremely educational experience. We learned a lot of helpful information that will aid us over the next three years while we pursue our doctorates. I am so happy that we all roomed together. We had a blast. Our days were long. We were in workshops from 8:00 or 8:30am until 4:30 or 5:00pm Tuesday through Friday. Afterwards we would go out for dinner to reflect upon our day's sessions. We are excited to return next year. Jimmy, James, Conner and Shannen are all arriving today to spend the night and then we will hang out by the pool at the Nick Hotel tomorrow.
