An Eagle Eye

Jimmy came in from taking out the trash this evening and said, "Hey teacher lady that knows all about birds. Look out the window and tell me what kind of bird is in the dead tree in Harry's yard." When I first looked out I could not tell if it was a buzzard or an eagle. So I said get the binoculars. On closer inspection, you can see that it is a Bald Eagle. It was dusk when I was taking the picture so it isn't the best picture. This is one thing that I have loved about living in Florida. There was a nest near my friend Ginny's house that has a pair of Bald Eagles that return every year. They are remarkable birds.
