Two of my friends from the mom's group that I belong to experienced terrible losses yesterday. One family lost their home, two dogs, and everything but the clothes on their back to a fire. Luckily, they were not in the house at the time so all of them are fine.
My other friend's family lost their beloved two year old daughter after a long battle with Mitochondrial Disease. Little Rylee earned her angel wings and is free now from illness and pain. We send our deepest condolences to her mom, dad, and big brother. May your hearts always be filled with love and beautiful memories of your Rylee girl.
Let's hope 2010 turns out better than it started. Hold your loved ones close and let them know you love them!
