A Real Evaluation

Conner finally went for an Occupational Therapy evaluation in a clinic setting with someone that actually has experience in sensory disorders. Boy did he show his true colors for this one! I kept my fingers crossed the whole time that we were there that he didn't hurt the therapist or her unborn child. I warned her right away of the potential hazard his shoes could be. She did a phenominal job of positioning herself to avoid any flailing that he did that could harm her. He was non-compliant for most of the requests that she made of him, threw toys, kicked the walls, banged his head on the floor, continuously tried to get to items that were off limits and screamed or cried most of the time we were in the evaluation room. It probably didn't help matters that he went to sleep pretty late last night and then woke up at 5:30am this morning. Unfortunately, that is life around here sometimes and it is about time someone else got to see it.
