Annual Review

Every year, my friend Jenny hosts a CPR playdate at her house. I headed over today to renew my certification. Our instructor Cathy is awesome. She is very laid back and is patient and flexible allowing us to have our children there too. She asks questions from time to time and is never surprised when my hand goes up. For instance, she asked if anyone had ever done back slaps on a choking child. I raised my hand. I have also done finger sweeps on all of the kids to get food out of their mouths. Conner has had the most sweeps. He has difficulty regulating the amount of food he puts into his mouth. Some times he stuffs his mouth so full of food that it triggers his gag reflex.
