Today we began our first year of what I hope to continue as a holiday tradition for our family. The boys and I made shortbread cookies using Christmas cookie cutouts. They each cut out two cookies and then decorated them with green and red sprinkles. I assisted after letting James try the first one on his own. The holes in the sprinkle container were a little too large and more than enough sprinkles were dumped on top of the first cookie. They had fun and the cookies were delicious. As always, with any sweet in our house, they did not last long!
