OT Evaluation

An OT from Early Steps came to the house today to evaluate Conner. One of the concerns that we have is that his sensory system may be interfering with his communication. The therapist was very nice and thorough. I was honestly surprised with how compliant Conner was with her requests to do tasks. It goes to show me that maybe part of his interference may be more related to terrible two's than anything else. Of course, while she was here I do not believe that he displayed any of the behaviors that have caused us concern. The OT did say that she was going to refer him for an evaluation by a Behaviorist. I guess we may find out more pieces to the puzzle then.
