Good Bye FAY!

We did not receive a direct hit from Fay. Fortunately, she hooked a severe eastward curve and came ashore south of Marco Island. We did get a lot of wind and a lot of much needed rain. Properties around us had some flooding and there was a lot of landscaping debris on the ground but other than that it was pretty uneventful. Some areas lost power on Tuesday but since we live on a main highway we never lost power.

What is that slogan? "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." Here is the local USPS delivering mail Tuesday morning.
