We went to our annual hockey game outing at Germain Arena to see the FL Everblades play. It was kids' night and they were giving out jerseys for the kids. We picked up one for each of the kids but they won't be wearing them for a while. They only had XL sizes. This was James' third game and Conner's second game. Last year Conner slept most of the time in Papa Murtaugh's arms. This year you would have thought that he was a hockey fanatic! He kept yelling YAY and clapping his hands even during the Star Spangled Banner! They had the cows there from Chic-Fil-A and Frosty and Wendy from Wendys. Conner practiced walking while he was there and almost walked right off the top of the stairs. He had his Dennis the Menace side in full force too. He would sneak up behind Grandma Murtaugh and pull her hair. One of the times that he tried that he fell face first into the hard plastic seat. OUCH! He cried and ended up with a nice bruise right between his eyes. Daddy tried to make it all better by dancing and singing for him...got that on video!
