Trains

My plan today was to take the boys to Lakes Park. Well it had to be altered when Conner woke up at 6:30am and was so wired that he would not go back to sleep. Jimmy brought him in our room and speedy was motoring all over our bed, laughing hysterical and climbing all over me. Seriously if this kid was in middle or high school we make him pee in a cup on a weekly basis! Needless to say his energy petered out about 10:30 this morning so he went in for a nap and my mom(who had stayed over last night) offered to stay at the house so I could still take James to the park. Off we went and when we arrived the train that goes through the park was pulling into the station so I bought two tickets and we climbed on board. Since we had to wait a couple minutes before the conductor yelled "All Aboard" he gave a brief history of how the train theme started at the park and the history of the railroad system in SWFL. It was quite interesting. He also told us that they just opened a new train museum that has a lot of the rail history in it at the park. Our fare included admission to the museum but since James wanted to go to the playground afterwards we had to skip the museum this time.
